- What is Rabbit Hole?
- Rabbit Hole is data science interview prep: spoken product-sense case mocks with an AI interviewer, plus free SQL practice and a free SQL course. It is an interview-prep product at rabbithole.you — not affiliated with unrelated apps, browsers, or crypto products that also use the name Rabbithole.
- Is the interview spoken or typed?
- Product-sense mocks are built around a live conversation. On desktop you can choose a live voice interview (the interviewer speaks, you answer out loud) or a text conversation you read and type. On mobile the session is voice-only. Real interviews are verbal; voice practice is the default path we recommend.
- What is free, and what do I pay for?
- SQL practice and the SQL course are free. Every new account includes one free product-sense interview session. After that, additional sessions are $3 each, or you can subscribe to Rabbit Hole Unlimited for $9/month, which includes every case. No invented discounts — those are the live prices.
- Do I need an account? How do I sign in?
- You can browse cases and start SQL problems without an account. Saving progress, claiming your free session, and keeping debriefs requires an account. We use Google sign-in only — no passwords to manage.
- How do product-sense cases work?
- You pick a case from the library (real scenarios from companies like Meta, DoorDash, and Google). The interviewer asks the opening question, then pushes back across multiple stages. When you finish, you get a debrief tied to your transcript: what was strong, what was weak, and what to drill next.
- What is included in a paid session?
- A product-sense session is a timed AI mock interview with realistic pushback, a stage-by-stage debrief with ratings, and a reference response. Your first session is free; later sessions are $3 each unless you are on Unlimited.
- Is SQL practice really free?
- Yes. The SQL problem bank and the SQL course are free. You can start solving in the browser without a card. Create a free account if you want progress, streaks, and concept ratings saved across devices.
